Technical Onboarding Coordinator
About the Role
The Technical Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the compliant, accurate and technically robust onboarding of heat network metering and monitoring systems across new and existing communal and district heat networks.
The role is responsible for taking a site from survey, mobilisation or client handover stage through to a fully understood and technically validated metering data arrangement. This includes:

Technically focused, this role combines metering knowledge, data systems understanding, onboarding discipline and regulatory awareness. The role supports the full lifecycle of heat network data onboarding, from initial review of existing metering arrangements through to platform configuration, data validation, internal handover and ongoing improvement of Insite’s metering and monitoring portfolio.
The successful candidate will ensure that metering data can be reliably collected, stored, validated, analysed and shared with internal and external stakeholders, including:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
