Background
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious candidate with strong data capability and a creative approach to problem-solving to join an expanding, high-calibre service provider, providing outsourced middle- and back-office services across a range of hedge funds and investment managers. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team of highly experienced former buy-side professionals.
This is the ideal role for an enthusiastic individual who wants to build dynamic and robust operational infrastructure across a range of excellent clients. You will make a difference in this role.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our Projects team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders to design and implement several initiatives, and supporting the Middle Office, Operations and Fund Accounting teams with internal queries to ensure continued high-touch support to our clients.
You will develop a strong technical foundation in operations, gain experience in process design, and build the skills required for a long-term career in financial operations and fintech-enabled services.

Core Responsibilities:
Projects
- Contribute to defining and prioritising automation development
- Assist in testing new workflow outputs and enable integration with stakeholders
- Represent Projects team in cross-functional initiatives across operations and technology teams
- Proactively identify potential efficiency/integrity opportunities
Cornerstone project - reconciliations
- Reporting to the Operations Solutions Manager to build, test, and implement strategic reconciliation processes and workflow enhancements
- Provide technical assistance to front line teams as required
- Assist the onboarding of new clients to existing workflows
- Perform data analysis to identify breaks and improve matching logic
- Document workflows, procedures, and system configurations
Process Improvement
- Continuous identification and implementation of improvements, automation and standardisation of operations processes
- Contribute to new system review, selection, and implementation. Including vendor management
- Deliver enhancements to OSMO product and client services offering
- Commitment to helping define and implement a benchmark OSMO operating model, in accordance with operational best practice across all clients

Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in financial services or professional services environment
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working with data in Excel (knowledge of formulas, pivot tables; VBA or Python is a plus)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Python, AI, data transformation tools an advantage
- Prior experience in operations, finance, data processing or reconciliations an advantage
