Technical Operations Lead
A brand new opportunity has arisen for well-regarded and consistently growing international Lloyd's Broker, with a solid presence in the London Market. This market-leading Lloyd's Broker is now seeking an experienced London Market professional with strong Technical Account Handling expertise and proven team leadership experience.
As the UK Operations Lead and the Division's Technical Specialist, you will work collaboratively with Speciality Divisions across the business and will provide comprehensive technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support across UK Specialty, including Whitespace and PPL queries. Build and maintain Contract Builder templates and support MRC creation and training. Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Contract Builder and Workbench. Represent the business within digital working groups and contribute to operational improvements. Develop strong relationships with market partners including Lloyd’s, LIIBA, PPL, Whitespace, and Artificial. Support onboarding and setup of new teams. Mentor and support apprentices through training, guidance, and regular check-ins. Act as a key contact for Team Leader monthly check-ins and issue resolution. Support the ongoing development of the Property Auto Follow programme. Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the business

Key Experience & Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of London Market processes and MRC v3 standards. Experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining Market Reform Contracts. Hands-on use of electronic trading platforms including PPL Next Gen and/or Whitespace. Strong understanding of Open Market and Delegated Authority business, including Binding Authorities and Lineslips. Experience with broking systems and market processing including Xchanging, A&S, and ECF. Knowledge of Mid-Term Broker Change processes between Lloyd’s Brokers and Xchanging. Understanding of TOBAs, Due Diligence, sanctions, audits, and broader compliance requirements.
