Technical Operations Manager | Up to £60,000 + Bonus | Hybrid (Uxbridge) | IT

We're looking for a Technical Operations Manager to lead our Technical Support and Field Services teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical support, operational excellence, installation quality, and customer service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people leadership, technical problem-solving, operational performance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced technology environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and developing Technical Support and Field Service teams
  • Acting as the senior technical escalation point for complex customer and operational issues
  • Driving SLA performance, service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Managing installation quality, audits, and technical standards
  • Working with OEMs, dealer groups and third-party installation partners
  • Monitoring device performance and operational KPIs to improve reliability and service delivery
  • Implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence
  • Supporting compliance, certification activities and technical governance

What we're looking for

  • Proven leadership experience within Technical Operations, Technical Support, Engineering, Service Delivery or Field Service Management
  • Strong knowledge of telematics, connected vehicles, GPS/GNSS, CAN Bus, vehicle electrical systems, remote diagnostics and vehicle integration
  • Experience managing technical teams and third-party service providers
  • A data-driven approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Auto-electrical qualifications or equivalent automotive electrical experience desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
