Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotating shift patterns are available and may include either:

A 3-shift rotation Monday - Friday:
- Days: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Afternoons: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Nights: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

A 4-day, 10-hour rotating shift pattern (Monday to Thursday):
- 6:00 am – 4:00 pm
- 4:00 pm – 2:00 am
We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Technical Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
As a Technical Operator, you will play a key role in the efficient running of the production line, operating equipment and machinery, supporting continuous improvement activities, and helping the team achieve production targets.

- Operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery.
- Carrying out routine line checks and basic fault finding.
- Supporting the achievement of daily production targets.
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Completing production records and quality documentation accurately.
- Identifying and reporting safety or quality concerns.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth shift handovers and efficient operations.
- Contributing ideas for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Operating forklift trucks safely where required (training/authorisation provided where applicable).
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working in a commercial food production or catering environment.
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Catering.
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- A positive, energetic, and self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- Food Safety Level 3 qualification.
- HACCP Level 2 qualification.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery.
