Technical Client Support – Paraplanner

Job Ref: 90764

Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 Per Annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Flexible Working Style: Fully On-site or Fully Remote – No Hybrid)

Are you a Level 6 qualified Advanced/Technical Paraplanner, seeking a role where your expertise drives meaningful, impactful financial solutions? This is a standout opportunity to join a respected financial planning firm in Fareham, working closely with advisers and clients to deliver precise, tailored advice.


What You’ll Be Doing

Here’s a snapshot of your impactful responsibilities:

  • Client Meetings: Actively participate in client sessions alongside advisers to gather insights and provide invaluable advice.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct intricate cashflow modelling and complex calculations, backed by Level 4/6 proficiency.
  • Report Writing: Develop detailed suitability reports in-house—some outsourced to chartered paraplanners for advanced scrutiny.
  • Research & Planning: Lead research into products and providers, offering technical recommendations to support advisers in formulating robust advice.

About You

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented paraplanner capable of:

  • Qualifications: Mandatory Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Experience: A background in paraplanning with hands-on exposure to sophisticated technical work.
  • Skills:
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication to facilitate colleague and client clarity.
  • Mindset:
    • Unwavering client focus, prioritising their needs.
    • Collaborative and solution-driven approach.
