Temporary Menswear Technical Product Developer – Knitwear & Multi-Product

Location: London Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Temporary Pay Method: Weekly via Agency Payroll

We are currently seeking an experienced Menswear Technical Product Developer to join a leading fashion business on a temporary basis with an immediate start. This role will focus on menswear knitwear and multi-product categories, working closely with design, sourcing, and suppliers to ensure products are developed and delivered to the highest quality and fit standards.

  • Manage the technical product development process from prototype through to production
  • Review and comment on samples, fit, construction, and workmanship
  • Conduct fit sessions and provide clear technical guidance to suppliers
  • Create and maintain technical specifications and size standards
  • Work across knitwear and additional menswear product categories
  • Liaise with offshore factories and suppliers to ensure critical path deadlines are met
  • Support quality assurance and product consistency across all ranges

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Technical Product Developer, Garment Technologist, or similar within menswear
  • Strong knowledge of knitwear construction and garment manufacturing
  • Experience working across multiple product categories
  • Excellent fit, grading, and garment construction knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
