Technical Product Manager

Senior Technical Product Manager

SmartSearch’s distinctive Anti-Money Laundering verification software protects our clients by offering the most advanced and comprehensive features available from an AML provider.

SmartSearch has grown rapidly by fostering an incredibly collaborative and supportive culture. As we continue our ambitious growth plans, we will strive to remain a truly exciting, rewarding, and unique place to work.

How Will You Make a Difference?

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead overarching technology initiatives, including integration, API interoperability, internal technical services, and tooling.

This role is focused on technical product delivery rather than direct customer-facing products, working closely with engineering, architecture, compliance, and operations teams to deliver scalable internal systems, APIs, workflows, and operational tools. Stakeholders will include a blend of internal technical teams and wider business teams, so the ability to elicit requirements from varied audiences and translate them into clear technical user stories, delivery plans, and priorities is essential.

You will own delivery across key technical workstreams, managing priorities, requirements, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment to support scalable technology outcomes and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering complex technical integrations, managing backend or platform products, and operating within Agile software environments. Experience within AML, RegTech, or financial services is highly desirable.

Varied Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Technical Product Delivery

  • Lead product management activities across overarching technology initiatives, including integration, API interoperability, AI customer support, and strategic partnerships.
  • Define and manage roadmaps for technical initiatives and cross-platform delivery.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into technical user stories and delivery plans.
  • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams on APIs, workflows, and service design.
  • Manage dependencies, priorities, risks, and delivery across multiple technical workstreams in a fast-moving environment where priorities may change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
