Job Opportunity
JD.com is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager - Supply Chain to join our growing technical team at Joybuy (https://www.joybuy.com/). Joybuy is JD.com’s European full-category online retail brand designed to bring customers a faster, more convenient, and cost-effective shopping experience. Offering same-day and next-day delivery across the UK, Joybuy combines speed, reliability, and affordability to meet the needs of modern shoppers. In this role, you will own and drive the supply chain product strategy for Joybuy's European markets. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle of supply chain systems that support cross-border e-commerce operations, working at the intersection of logistics, technology, and business to deliver a superior fulfilment experience for millions of European customers.
This is a high-impact, senior IC role. You will define product vision, set the roadmap, and lead cross-functional execution with engineering, operations, business, and local market teams across London and Beijing.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for international supply chain products supporting Joybuy's European operations. Align product priorities with broader business goals and market expansion plans.
- Drive the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through design, development, launch, and continuous iteration. Write clear PRDs, define success metrics, and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead product initiatives across one or more of the following domains: cross-border inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), order fulfilment and allocation, last-mile delivery integration, returns and reverse logistics, carrier management, and supply chain visibility.
- Dive deep into supply chain operations and business scenarios, work with local fulfilment teams, merchants, logistics partners, and customer service to identify pain points and opportunities. Translate operational insights into product improvements that drive efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
- Define and track key product metrics (fulfilment SLA, cost per order, inventory turnover, on-time delivery rate, return rate, etc.). Use data to prioritise, measure impact, and drive continuous optimisation.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, supply chain operations, merchant operations, and local market teams across London and Beijing to drive alignment and execution excellence.
- Ensure supply chain product capabilities are adapted to European market requirements, including local logistics partner integration, customs and tax compliance, regulations (e.g. GDPR), and region-specific customer expectations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
