ZeroAvia

ZeroAvia is a pioneering aerospace company developing hydrogen-electric fuel cell systems. Operating at the forefront of sustainable flight, ZeroAvia works with leading industry partners, regulators and government-funded research programmes to accelerate the transition to zero-emission air travel. Through cutting-edge engineering and ambitious R&D initiatives, we are helping shape the future of aviation.

The Technical Project Coordinator

The Technical Project Coordinator sits at the intersection of engineering, project leadership and external stakeholders, supporting the successful delivery of ZeroAvia’s R&D programmes. Working closely with programme leaders, this role carries significant project management responsibility, including planning, reporting, risk management, stakeholder coordination and grant-funded project support. The successful candidate will build strong relationships across engineering, programme management, finance and external funding bodies. We are seeking an excellent communicator, problem-solver and team player, with the technical grounding needed to understand and support advanced hydrogen-electric aviation research. This role offers exposure to senior programme governance, cutting-edge hydrogen-electric aviation technology and externally funded R&D delivery, making it an excellent stepping stone into Programme Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of R&D programmes, working closely with project leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource forecasts, governance documentation and status reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project controls including risk management, action tracking, change control, resource utilisation and performance monitoring, driving continuous improvement where needed.
  • Coordinate grant-funded project activities, including funding body submissions, milestone reporting, evidence packs and stakeholder engagement with external agencies.
  • Support programme governance by preparing and presenting project performance updates, facilitating programme gate reviews and ensuring effective team communications.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering, testing, supply chain, finance and other stakeholder groups to identify issues, solve problems and support programme objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
