Technical Program Manager – EMEA Network Acquisitions (GNA) Planning

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in network infrastructure and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in navigating ambiguity and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- Experience with program management in networking, delivering infrastructure assets and vendor management.
- Knowledge of fibre optic systems/submarine cable ecosystem, with an understanding of EMEA and global carrier networks.
- Ability to exercise business and technical understanding to drive the long-term objectives of the organisation.
- Ability to adopt a data-driven, investigative approach towards solving challenges, with excellent problem-solving and financial skills.

Your focus is on the EMEA Network Acquisitions (GNA) Planning team. Within this role:
- You'll drive data-driven analysis to develop Network Topology plans, leveraging forecasts and technical guidelines.
- Build regional capacity plans aligned with scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency without compromising product rollout timelines.
- Optimise Google’s Production Network through close collaboration with Strategic Negotiators, Technical Program Managers, and Network Engineers.

Individual compensation (structured pay, target bonus, equity, benefits) will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
Remuneration (Dublin, Ireland): €118,000 - €121,000 (EUR) annually + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Drive EMEA network planning and asset/infrastructure alignment with product demands over time.
- Project manage end-to-end, repeatable, transparent, and complex planning pipelines.
- Analyse and rationalise demand forecasts for all EMEA network flows, translating them into optimised capacity plans through sequential risk assessment.
- Partner with internal owners, technical teams, and strategic negotiators to define requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and facilitate business process changes for cost-effective automation and future network delivery.
