Project Overview:
Google DeepMind's Robotics Network is undergoing a massive global expansion and infrastructure modernization (migrating to Next-Generation Non-Corp / NGNC architecture). This includes deploying new robotics labs across multiple sites globally. In parallel, the Enterprise Engineering team is commissioning high-visibility event spaces/studios at the new P37 building at Kings Cross.
The Team:
The Google DeepMind Enterprise Engineering (EE) Network team is responsible for architecting, deploying, and supporting the underlying network infrastructure for all AI and robotics research labs, as well as critical event spaces for GDM. The team operates globally, bridging the gap between advanced research needs and strict security mandates.

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead the end-to-end commissioning of new robotics sites across North America, the UK, and any other country the business deems necessary, ensuring they meet tight deployment schedules and security requirements. Additionally, the TPM will provide dedicated operational support and program management for the new P37 event space, managing stakeholders and mitigating high-visibility risks.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive the commissioning and deployment schedules for the network in the new global robotics labs (e.g., RLS, NYC, Cambridge MA, Boulder), coordinating with local vendors, Google Enterprise Network (GEN), and research stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary operational TPM for the P37 event space/studios, ensuring flawless network delivery and acting as the escalation point for VIP events.
- Manage procurement, hardware delivery tracking, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and budget tracking for all assigned network infrastructure projects.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management specifically in network infrastructure, data center deployments, or complex IT systems.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site hardware deployments and coordinating with external vendors and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in high-visibility or VIP-facing environments (like event spaces and cutting edge tech).
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Google's internal network deployment processes or Enterprise Network architecture.
- Experience with robotics lab or OT/IT integrated environments.
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
