Senior Technical Programme Manager (Information Security)
Contract: 4 Months (Inside IR35) | Rate: Up to £560 per day
Location: UK Remote with occasional travel to London
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Programme Manager / Project Manager to join their Enterprise Security function on an initial 4-month contract, covering a period of parental leave. This role will focus on delivering two critical security initiatives across a large, global technology environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving programmes from planning through to deployment, working closely with Security, IT, Architecture, Legal, Procurement and other key stakeholders. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring a proactive security programme manager who can quickly establish credibility, manage dependencies and ensure successful execution within a tight timeframe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout of a browser security solution across a large enterprise environment
- Coordinate with Security, Infrastructure and IT teams to obtain approvals and drive deployment activities
- Deliver the proof of concept, evaluation and implementation of a SaaS security solution
- Manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders throughout the product assessment process
- Work closely with Legal and Procurement teams to support commercial reviews and onboarding activities
- Track programme risks, dependencies, budgets and timelines
- Drive stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide clear governance, reporting and programme visibility to senior leadership
- Support additional Enterprise Security initiatives as required

Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Programme Manager, Security Programme Manager or Technical Project Manager within large enterprise organisations
- Strong background delivering enterprise security programmes and security tooling deployments
- Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder technical programmes
- Demonstrable experience working with Security, Infrastructure and Architecture teams
- Experience leading vendor selection, proof of concept activities and technology deployments
- Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts and controls
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience operating within structured governance and delivery frameworks

Desirable Experience
- Browser security deployments
- SaaS security tooling implementations
- Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, Secure Web Gateway, CASB, SSPM or related security technologies
- Experience working within global technology organisations
What's Important
- Enterprise Security experience is preferred over IAM-focused experience
- Ability to deliver at pace and operate with minimal supervision
- Strong commercial awareness and exposure to procurement processes
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and functions in a fast-moving environment
