About the role
As Technical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing assigned projects from planning through to completion, ensuring the desired outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes and budgets, while minimising business risk.
You’ll play a central role in keeping projects on track, making sure the right governance, documentation and planning are in place, and ensuring stakeholders are appropriately informed, engaged and consulted throughout.
Key Accountabilities
- Managing projects through to successful completion, ensuring outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes, cost expectations and with minimal business risk.
- Ensuring appropriate project planning, governance and documentation is in place for assigned projects.
- Driving project outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement, project team coordination and project support.
- Making sure project support functions are organised appropriately to enable successful delivery.
- Managing stakeholder communication and consultation, ensuring the right people are informed and involved at the right time.
- Designing, facilitating and managing required workshops to support project delivery and business change.
- Supporting process mapping, process design and the identification of improved ways of working.
- Providing appropriate reporting to the project executive.
- Working with teams across the business, as well as internal and external suppliers.

About you
You’ll be an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex strategic projects and working with stakeholders at all levels. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from a transformation, process improvement or business change environment, with the ability to manage priorities, solve problems and keep projects moving forward.
You’ll be confident building relationships across the business and will bring an adaptable communication style, strong empathy and the ability to influence and engage different stakeholder groups.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience of running complex projects, ideally of a technical theme and compliance/ regulatory related
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
- A logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and deliver solutions.
- Experience creating viable project plans and managing tasks through to delivery.
- Experience in process definition, process mapping and process improvement.
- Strong presentation skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, including Visio and Project.
- Knowledge of quality management principles, system processes, value chain and process efficiency.
- One or more project management methodology qualifications at practitioner level, such as Prince2, Agile or Scrum
