** Senior Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity) – Managed Security Services onboarding

About the Role

SecurityHQ is seeking two experienced and driven Technical Project Manager’s to lead the successful onboarding and delivery of our Managed Security Services and Response platform. These are critical, high-growth positions where you will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding journey and helping standardise our customer onboarding strategy across accounts.

You will work at the intersection of technical delivery, customer engagement, and project leadership, managing complex implementations while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Confident communication, expert problem-solving, and professionalism in handling high-pressure scenarios are core requirements for this customer-facing role.

Location: Hybrid in our Blackfriars London office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple cybersecurity projects, from initiation through to completion and post-go-live handover
  • Drive a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience, unifying processes across all customers
  • Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Facilitate onboarding workshops, stakeholder sessions, and regular progress updates
  • Manage customer expectations, risk escalations, and high-pressure situations with clarity and professionalism
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, Security Operations Centre (SOC), and sales teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, project reporting, and cross-team communication
  • Provide technical oversight across cloud (AWS/Azure), security platforms, networking, and datacentre environments
  • Ensure seamless handover to operational teams following implementation

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in Technical Project Management, specifically in cybersecurity, managed services, or a similar technical environment
  • Proven background in customer-facing consulting, enterprise delivery, and stakeholder management
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    • Cybersecurity, cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
    • SIEMs, networking, and datacentre infrastructure
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences (e.g., executives, developers, operations)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging customer interactions with a calm, solutions-focused approach
  • Commercial awareness + stakeholder influence: ability to build trust, align business objectives, and drive decision-making
  • Highly proactive and accountable with a strong sense of ownership
  • Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp, Microsoft Project)

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL, cybersecurity-specific certs) are advantageous but not mandatory
