Head of Product Delivery (Senior, Strategic) – UK/Spain

This cross-functional senior leadership position sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and the wider business, ensuring alignment, clarity, and seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Key to delivering real value for customers and the business
- Bridges the gap between complex strategy and practical delivery
- Acts as a trusted advisor to technical (Engineering, Architecture, Data, AI, Security, Infrastructure) and non-technical (Business, Product, Sales, Marketing) stakeholders
- No hands-on coding required, but deep involvement in technical discussions, including risk assessment, trade-offs, and decision guidance
This role thrives on clarity in complexity, delivery discipline, and cross-functional leadership—driving initiatives from concept to launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Execution Ownership
- Lead end-to-end development of strategic product and technology initiatives
- Work closely with Engineering & Product teams to assess complexity, set realistic effort estimates, and manage trade-offs
- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements, with ongoing progress tracking to monitor risks and dependencies
- Ensure on-time, on-scope delivery aligned with business objectives

2. Go-to-Market (GTM) & Launch Coordination
- Lead coordination of GTM activities for new product features
- Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure smooth, impactful launches
- Support enablement materials, internal readiness, and customer communications
- Guarantee operational readiness pre-launch and post-launch adoption tracking
3. Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Define and measure delivery KPIs, success metrics, and operational performance indicators
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance predictability and efficiency
- Drive best practices in project and delivery management across teams
4. Stakeholder & Communication Skills
- Successfully manage stakeholders at all levels (both technical & non-technical)
- Facilitate clear communication and alignment in ambiguous or complex environments
- Expertly translate priorities into structured, actionable plans while maintaining focus on business impact
Preferred Methods & Tools
- Project Management: Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tracking tools
- Data & Analytics: Proficient in Power BI, Sisense, Databricks or related platforms
- Data-driven approach to risk tracking, progress monitoring, and delivery outcomes

Requirements & Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information systems, or related disciplines
- Proven project management expertise in a SaaS or product-led environment, especially within .FinTech, payroll, payments, HR technology, or regulated SaaS
- Strong technical foundation in AI and data, with hands-on experience to critically assess system constraints and constructively challenge engineering decisions
