Technical Project Manager (AWS | Cloud Transformation)
£500 per day (Outside IR35) | Hybrid – Occasional travel to London | 12-month Contract
We're supporting a large-scale enterprise transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple complex cloud and software engineering projects.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with wider programme objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of 4–5 concurrent technical projects
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and delivery roadmaps
- Manage project dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Establish project governance and effective ways of working
- Create and maintain RACI matrices
- Manage RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), driving mitigation activities where required
- Report project progress to programme leadership and senior stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams throughout delivery

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex technical projects
- Strong AWS knowledge and experience working on cloud-based platforms
- Experience delivering large-scale software engineering or infrastructure programmes
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience operating within fast-paced, complex delivery environments

Desirable Experience
- Experience within highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments
- Agile delivery experience (Scrum and/or Kanban)
- Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, EKS, S3, IAM, RDS and VPC
- PRINCE2, APM PMQ or equivalent Project Management certification
Contract Details
- £500 per day (All-In)
- Outside IR35
- Hybrid working with occasional travel to London
- Long-term contract running through to August 2027
