Job Description
This is an exciting and broad-ranging role where you will be deployed across a range of activities. For custom customer projects, you will follow the order fulfilment process, supporting the initial enquiry and then leading the project through the design, build and test phases before supporting the on-site installation.
For product development and new projects, you will be responsible for all aspects of a product lifecycle as defined by the Development Gate Process. This includes initial discussion of the market requirement, evaluation of technology options with the R&D team, the product specification, design, legislative compliance issues and the transition to manufacture with the assistance of other departmental heads.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
