At Vitacress, we’re committed to delivering fresh, high-quality products that our customers and consumers can trust. We’re looking for a Technical Quality Auditor to join our Night Shift Team and ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across our entire operation.
This is an excellent career opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing, quality, or compliance who wants to grow within a fast-paced, high-performance business.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Quality Auditor, you’ll be instrumental in:
- Maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the production process, from raw material intake to finished product.
- Ensuring products consistently meet legal requirements, customer expectations, and company standards.
- Promoting a strong culture of food safety and quality across the site.
Key DutIES:
✅ Conducting audits and inspections against:
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) requirements
✅ Assessing products throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to finished goods, to ensure compliance.
✅ Identifying, investigating, and reporting any quality issues or non-conformances.
✅ Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
✅ Analysing audit trends, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports to drive continuous improvement.

✅ Completing traceability exercises and mass balance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
✅ Carrying out calibration checks on quality-related equipment.
✅ Collaborating closely with Production, Technical, and Management teams to maintain and enhance site standards.
✅ Championing food safety, product quality, and ongoing improvement across the operation.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
✔ Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and food safety. ✔ Confident, proactive, and unafraid to challenge standards when necessary. ✔ Highly organised with strong time-management and analytical skills. ✔ Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. ✔ Excellent communicator with good IT skills for reporting and data analysis. ✔ Committed to maintaining the highest standards and driving continuous improvement daily.
Desirable Experience:
⭐ Previous work in food manufacturing or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods). ⭐ Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, auditing, or compliance processes. ⭐ Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards. ⭐ Experience in investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions.
