Job Description Summary

The Technical Records Coordinator is responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate engine and maintenance documentation in support of GE On Wing Support London operations. This role ensures all incoming and outgoing technical records are complete, compliant, and properly controlled to support operational execution, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The coordinator reviews records received with inducted engines or modules, validates documentation for accuracy and completeness, and ensures outgoing records packages are prepared and released correctly following maintenance activity. The role works closely with operations, quality, engineering, and customer teams to resolve documentation discrepancies, support traceability, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and delivery.

Job Description

  • Consolidate technical documentation into a complete, accurate, and customer-acceptable records package.
  • Interpret and translate customer documentation requirements into the final output package provided at the completion of each work order.
  • Perform detailed audits of technical record packs to verify completeness, accuracy, and inclusion of all required supporting documents and inputs.
  • Organize and coordinate the release of the final data set to customers for review in a timely and structured manner.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate technical documentation issues raised by customers to the site Quality team for review, correction, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the archiving and records storage process to ensure completed work packs are properly retained and accessible in line with business requirements.
  • Retrieve and provide historical records for prior work orders in response to customer requests.
  • Assist in coordinating in-process shop reports and other documentation updates as required to support customer visibility during active work scopes.
  • Collect data on recurring documentation errors, analyze common issues, and work with Production and Quality teams to improve documentation standards and process effectiveness.
