Job Description
The ideal candidate will help the team present new refrigeration solutions, help quote and calculate complex projects from refrigeration, mechanical and electrical standpoint and act as a knowledge resource for the team and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales & Operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery of retail projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key retail clients, providing tailored solutions that meet operational and technical requirements.
- Train and mentor sales team members on technical aspects of the product line to enhance consultative selling.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, specifications, and budgets are met while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Support the retail sales team in developing proposals, quotes, and product recommendations aligned with client needs.
- Provide technical assistance during client consultations to match specifications with operational requirements.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing bids and customer presentations.
- Maintain accurate CRM data for all client interactions, proposals, and project updates.
- Review technical drawings and documentation for retail projects to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Support on-site setups, testing, and troubleshooting for new retail projects or installations.
- Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Gather post-project feedback and identify opportunities for recurring or expanded business.

Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in technical sales, retail equipment, within a B2B or commercial environment.
- Required background in refrigeration and/or HVAC. Experience can include technical training, engineering, design or field implementation, service, commissioning and installation.
- Excellent communication and client service skills with attention to detail and organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, BlueBeam (or similar) and refrigeration diagrams, drawings and mechanical schedules.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings, site visits, and trade shows.
