Technical Sale Manager – Imaging/ Photonics - UK
Field-Based (UK)
We are working with a leading technology business looking to appoint a Technical Sale Manager to support growth across their Imaging and Photonics portfolio.
This is a field-based role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and driving design-in opportunities across a range of high-tech industries.
Key Responsibilities - Technical Sale Manager – Imaging/ Photonics - UK
- Driving new business across both existing and new customers
- Developing and converting design-in opportunities into long-term revenue
- Managing the full sales cycle from enquiry through to order closure
- Providing pre- and post-sales technical support to customers
- Building strong relationships across engineering, procurement, and senior stakeholders
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
- Generating quotations, following up leads, and maintaining CRM updates
- Collaborating with suppliers and partners to support customer requirements

Skills & Experience Required - Technical Sale Manager – Imaging/ Photonics - UK
- Proven experience in technical sales or field sales engineering
- Strong knowledge of imaging technologies, ideally thermal imaging cameras
- Experience within OEM or scientific sales environments
- Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
- Degree or higher qualification in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Electronics, Physics, Engineering)
