About Ivory Egg
Ivory Egg has supported the UK smart building industry for more than 20 years.
We work with respected manufacturers of intelligent and open-standard building technology, supporting Integrators, Consultants and Specifiers across residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
Our value goes beyond product supply. We combine high-quality technology with technical knowledge, practical project support and strong, long-term customer relationships.
The opportunity
Ivory Egg is looking for a driven, new-business-focused sales professional to help grow our presence across the UK smart building sector.
This is a role for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities and building lasting commercial relationships, not simply managing an existing account list.
You will promote KNX products, systems and wider smart building solutions, supported by Ivory Egg’s technical and internal teams. You will identify new prospects, develop a strong sales pipeline and help customers select the right products and solutions for their projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
