Technical Sales Co-ordinator

Technical Sales Co-ordinator required for long established engineering company based near Diss.

Working in the spares department as part of the after-sales team, the successful candidate will undertake a varied role, taking and processing orders for spare parts.

Duties

  • Processing customer spare enquiries via phone or email
  • Owning the end-to-end process for spares, including liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Requesting quotes from and negotiating with suppliers
  • Producing and following up on potential customer quotes
  • Converting enquiries into sales orders
  • Maintaining relationships with customers and ensuring their needs are met

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role and with engineering/manufacturing knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • IT skills. Must include Word, Excel, email and be familiar with MRP systems
