Job Description

Technical Sales Consultant (Minors) – Glasgow Service Branch

About the Role

We’re seeking a target-driven, customer-focused Technical Sales Consultant to join our Maintenance and Repair Division based in Glasgow. In this role, you will provide quotations and secure orders for minor repair opportunities within our established client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure commercial opportunities by leveraging internal networks, targeting both new and existing customers for minor repairs and equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet sales targets, delivering:
    • Accurate and timely quotes
    • Professional proposals
    • Rigorous follow-ups
  • Consistently maintain detailed records of activities using Excel, including:
    • Leads, consultations, and outcomes
  • Collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders, reporting progress weekly to the Branch Manager.
  • Champion safety, quality, and brand reputation while demonstrating:
    • Professionalism
    • Flexibility
    • Occasional travel within the service area.

Requirements

  • Proven technical lift experience, or willingness to develop in this area.
  • Experience in sales or business development within a fast-paced office environment.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships across all organisational levels.
  • GCSE English (Grade C or equivalent) or a related industry qualification.
  • Reading/writing and numeracy proficiency for accurately producing documentation.

Working Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 0900–1715
  • Friday: 0900–1645
