Role Overview
Our Sales department requires a Technical Sales Consultant, who will be in charge of carrying out the following responsibilities:
Your responsibilities:
- Business development for the Trade channel. Generating leads for Racking and shelving warehouse solutions, converting these into quotes and ultimately into orders.
- Technical advice and developing of quotes within your area.
- Ensure lasting customer relationships.
- Develop weekly and monthly sales plans with sales forecasts.
- Ensure completion of projects through coordination with Engineering, Logistics, Installation, and Administrative departments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hard-working, proactive, and motivated by success.
- Demonstrated effective communication, listening skills, and multi-tasking.
- A desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
- A Technical background, ideally in engineering or business/marketing, or equivalent education (Level 4) and 2-5 years sales experience.
- A background of selling into the Warehousing/Logistics Industry is desirable.
- A proven track record in improving sales performance.
- Software: CAD or similar, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
