Technical Sales Consultant – Warehousing & Logistics

We’re seeking a motivated Technical Sales Consultant to drive business growth in the trade channel, specialising in warehouse racks, shelving solutions, and related logistics technologies. Join a team where career development, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
### About the Role
This role centres on business development, client relationship management, and technical solution consulting within the Warehousing & Logistics sector. You’ll leverage your sales acumen, technical expertise, and proactive attitude to generate leads, convert opportunities into sales, and ensure smooth project execution—collaborating closely with Engineering, Logistics, Installation, and Administrative teams.
### Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Generate, qualify, and convert leads into quotes for warehouse racks, shelving, and logistics storage solutions.
- Build and maintain lasting customer relationships by providing tailored, high-value consultancy.

Sales & Quote Development:
- Deliver technical advice, create detailed quotations, and present solutions to prospective clients.
- Develop and track weekly/monthly sales plans with accurate forecasts.

Project Coordination:
- Oversee project timelines from quote to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Performance Improvement:
- Continuously optimise sales performance and seek opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
### Requirements

Attitude & Adaptability:
- Hardworking, proactive, and driven by success with a hunger for growth in a dynamic sales environment.
- Strong communicative, listening, and multi-tasking skills—with the good judgment to lead and recommend solutions effectively.

Education & Experience:
- Technical background in engineering or business/marketing, or equivalent (e.g., Level 4 qualification).
- 2–5 years’ sales experience, preferably in warehousing, logistics, or storage solutions.
- A proven track record of improving sales performance and exceeding targets.

Technical & Software Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software, Excel (data analysis/forecasting), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

- Experience in the storage/lift systems or warehouse automation marketing field is becoming a desirable addition.
