Technical Sales Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Commission + Benefits
Our client is a leading renewable energy installation business delivering heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, MVHR, and cooling solutions across high-end residential and commercial projects.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award. This role would suit someone from renewables sales, technical pre-sales, design engineering, building services, or M&E consultancy.
Candidate Background Needed to Apply
- Experience within renewable energy sales, technical pre-sales, design engineering, building services, or M&E consultancy
- Strong knowledge of heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, MVHR, and cooling systems
- Experience selling, specifying, or designing renewable energy systems
- Ability to build relationships with architects, developers, consultants, and contractors
- Proven track record of winning and managing projects
- Full UK Driving Licence

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to contract award
- Build relationships with architects, developers, consultants, and contractors
- Conduct site surveys and client meetings
- Produce quotations, technical specifications, and proposals
- Recommend suitable renewable energy solutions based on project requirements
- Work closely with design and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing opportunities

- Commission structure with realistic OTE of £60,000 - £80,000
