Following continued investment and business growth, our client is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales growth across the North of England

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer of specialist equipment serving the aviation, rail and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, managing major customer accounts, and delivering technical solutions to some of the UK's largest engineering and infrastructure organisations.

With ambitious growth plans and a strong project pipeline, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing business while working independently in a highly visible customer-facing position.

Job Description

  • Develop and grow sales opportunities across the aviation, rail and industrial sectors throughout the North of the UK
  • Generate new business opportunities while managing and developing existing key customer accounts
  • Conduct regular customer visits, site surveys and specification meetings, spending approximately 80% of your time in the field
  • Identify customer requirements and provide technical solutions from the company's portfolio of specialist access and maintenance equipment
  • Work closely with internal engineering, design and production teams to ensure successful project delivery

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field-based business development, technical sales or sales engineering
  • Experience selling technical, engineered or manufactured products into end-user customers
  • Comfortable discussing technical specifications and translating customer requirements into practical solutions
