Technical Sales Engineer
Position: R241389
A Technical Sales Engineer bridges deep technical expertise with strong commercial awareness, helping customers identify the right solutions for their business needs. This role combines customer relationship management, solution positioning, and project engagement across the full sales cycle, while working closely with engineering, sales, and supplier teams to drive growth and long-term value.
What Will You Be Doing?
Responsibilities
- Have full ownership over designated customers within the United Kingdom
- Develop and execute customer technology and commercial strategy, identifying growth opportunities through fact-based analysis and in-depth customer knowledge
- Develop strong customer relationships at all levels, including:
- Understanding engineering careabouts and building technical profiles (hierarchy, strategy, products, and end-markets)
- Identify projects at the earliest stage of the design cycle and understand the challenges they aim to solve
- Coordinate Arrow Engineering teams and supplier resources to maximize product offering across all technologies and suppliers
- Program manage engagements throughout the customer/project lifecycle
- Act as a communication bridge, sharing customer/project updates with:
- Internal Sales
- Customer Operations
- Marketing
- Engineering
- Project Management
- Proactively develop and manage the demand creation pipeline, maintaining a project tracking database
- Work closely with Internal Sales throughout the project lifecycle to accelerate pipeline conversion to billings

Additional Preference

- Experience in the electronics industry (distributor or manufacturer)
- Previous Connectivity / IoT experience
