Technical Sales Engineer
Technical Sales Engineer
Yibi Precision is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support international customer development for precision metal components and Metal Injection Molding (MIM) manufacturing solutions.
This role sits between technical communication and business development. You will help understand customer requirements, support early technical discussions, coordinate with internal engineering teams, and assist in developing suitable manufacturing solutions for industrial and technology-driven clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer communication for precision metal components, MIM manufacturing, and related technical inquiries.
- Understand customer drawings, product requirements, application needs, and early-stage project information.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, tooling, production, and quality teams to evaluate project feasibility.
- Assist in preparing technical responses, capability introductions, and customer-facing project materials.
- Support business development activities by identifying suitable applications and potential customer opportunities.
- Follow up on sample development, technical evaluation, and early project discussions.
- Help translate customer requirements into internal technical and manufacturing communication.
- Support customer meetings, project reviews, and new business discussions when needed.

Qualifications
What we are looking for
- Experience or strong interest in technical sales, sales engineering, application engineering, manufacturing, industrial components, or B2B engineering solutions.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, product specifications, or basic manufacturing requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with both customers and internal technical teams.
- Interest in precision manufacturing, MIM, metal components, or industrial applications.
- Practical problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple customer discussions or project opportunities at the same time.

Preferred but not required
- Experience in MIM, CNC machining, powder metallurgy, precision metal components, automotive parts, electronics components, tools, locks, medical devices, or related manufacturing industries.
- Experience in technical sales, application engineering, project engineering, or manufacturing business development.
- Familiarity with DFM, sample development, process evaluation, or quality requirements is a plus.
- English communication ability is required; additional languages are a plus.
