Technical Sales Engineer

Drill Service (Horley) Limited
Location: Office based; ideally near Horley, Surrey or Bicester, Oxfordshire, with occasional site visits

About Us

Drill Service (Horley) Limited is a precision cutting tools specialist, founded in 1961 and trusted by customers across aerospace, automotive, medical, and general manufacturing. We're the official UK distributor for Xebec deburring tools, and our reputation is built on technical expertise, quality, and long-standing customer relationships.

The Role

We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team, office based with occasional travel to customer and supplier sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on machine operating experience who wants to bring that practical knowledge into a customer-facing, technical role. You'll work closely with our Workshop team, customers, and suppliers to help develop bespoke tooling solutions and provide operational support that keeps customers running smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
