Job Description

Technical Sales Engineer I - MENA

Commercial Department

The Business

Oxford Flow was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from The University of Oxford and produces some of the most precise and accurate flow control valves in the world. We are an engineering led technology company which has revolutionized valve design with our range of Zero emissions control valves and regulators; these products will transform global fugitive emissions in industries such as oil & gas, gas transmission & distribution, and other process industries.

The addressable market for Oxford Flow’s innovative technology is a £5bn sector of the global £70bn valve and actuator market.

The Role

The Technical Sales Engineer I is an entry to mid-level individual contributor responsible for supporting the commercial team by preparing technically sound, compliant, and commercially viable proposals for customer inquiries, RFQs, and tenders. This role supports the sales cycle by coordinating with engineering, product management, and supply chain to deliver prompt, professional responses that align with customer requirements and internal standards.

Your existing technical understanding of valves will serve as a foundation for developing critical product knowledge in line with our sales strategy. Crucial to this role will be your ability to determine customer needs in order to align our value proposition with current and future expectation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
