The Company
Our Company are a well-established specialist engineering business supplying technical tooling and engineered solutions into the manufacturing sector. Due to continued growth and expansion plans, we are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join the commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to join a progressive business where long-term development and progression are genuinely encouraged. Premier Tooling recently promoted internally into Director/Shareholder level positions and are looking for somebody with the ambition, commitment and capability to potentially progress into senior leadership within the company over time.
The Role
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships across a strong existing customer base, while also identifying and securing new business opportunities.
The role will involve a combination of office-based work, customer visits, machine installs and hybrid working. You will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, provide consultative support and ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.

This position would suit an experienced and commercially driven Technical Sales Engineer who can 'hit the ground running' and confidently manage customer relationships from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
- Develop new business opportunities across engineering and manufacturing sectors
- Carry out customer visits, technical discussions and site meetings
- Support customer installations and project requirements when required
- Provide consultative technical sales support and engineering solutions
- Prepare and follow up quotations and commercial proposals
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery
- Build strong long-term customer relationships
- Maintain CRM systems and accurate sales activity records
- Represent Premier Tooling professionally within the marketplace
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience within Technical Sales or Engineering Sales
- Strong engineering or manufacturing background
- Experience selling tooling, industrial products, machinery or engineered solutions advantageous
- Ability to manage both existing accounts and generate new business
- Commercially aware and customer focused
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Ability to work within a hybrid role involving office work, customer visits and installations
- Full UK Driving Licence

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Travel
The role will involve:
- Customer visits
- Site meetings
- Occasional customer installs
- Travel across customer locations when required
