Technical Sales Estimator
Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly reputable engineering and manufacturing business, who, due to continued growth, are seeking a Technical Sales Estimator to join their internal sales team.
This opportunity sits within a dynamic and growing team and will suit an enthusiastic individual who enjoys combining technical understanding with customer engagement. In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £32,000, 25 days holidays + bank holidays and the opportunity to develop within a supportive and technically advanced engineering environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in estimating within an engineering environment
- Experience in a technical sales or customer-facing role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and translate them into accurate quotations
- Good communication, organisation, and administrative skills

- Produce accurate estimates and quotations within required timescales
- Support the wider sales team with technical input
- Liaise with customers to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to generate costings
- Attend client sites and meetings where required to support project discussions
- Represent the business at industry exhibitions and networking events when needed
