We have an ambitious growth plan and are exploring a wealth of exciting strategic opportunities to cement our place as one of the sector leaders.

If you want to do more, and come on this journey, we want you on our team.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Severn Trent Services is a business of £100 million turnover, and we are proud to announce we are recruiting for a Technical Sales Lead role.

In this role you will play a key role in delivering our ambitious 2030 growth strategy, driving business development and securing high-value opportunities within regulated and high-risk environments.

By working closely with customers, operational teams and chemists, you will help win, retain and grow customer accounts while ensuring the highest standards of service and regulatory compliance.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with operational, technical and compliance teams to ensure solutions are deliverable, scalable and aligned to customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams, supporting compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Drive account growth and customer retention through exceptional relationship management and industry expertise.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support business growth and strengthen market position.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
