Technical Sales Manager
My client, a leading European photonics and fibre-optics manufacturer, is seeking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to join its growing commercial team.
The company develops highly specialised optical and fibre-based solutions that support a wide range of industrial, scientific, and infrastructure applications worldwide.
You will be joining the business at a pivotal stage of growth, operating at the intersection of engineering and commercial strategy. You will be responsible for:

The role involves:
- Managing and developing existing customer relationships
- Identifying new opportunities across key markets
Rather than selling standard catalogue products, you will work closely with engineers, researchers, and technical decision-makers to:
- Understand specific application requirements
- Deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs

Candidates with a background in photonics, optics, fibre optics, physics, engineering, or a related technical discipline are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in sales, applications engineering, business development, or another customer-facing technical role would be advantageous. However, technically strong specialists looking to transition into a commercial position will also be considered.
