At Sungrow, one of the world's leading clean energy technology companies, we are on the lookout for a sharp, driven, and highly connected Specification Sales professional to join our UK & Ireland team on a part-time basis. If you know how to open doors with architects, navigate procurement frameworks, and turn a specification into a signed project - keep reading, this role was written for you: Drive specification sales across the UK, engaging architects, energy consultants, housing and local authorities, insurance bodies, and fire compliance stakeholders to position Sungrow's portfolio at the heart of major projects. Own the full sales cycle from specification to installation - managing your top 50 active projects at any one time, with a strong focus on generating and breaking specifications from cradle to grave. Develop and deliver CPD sessions for architects, procurement frameworks, housing and local authorities, fire and insurance professionals - building Sungrow's credibility and visibility in the sptfolio at the heart of major projects. Own the full sales cycle from specification to installation - managing your top 50 active projects at any one time, with a strong focus on generating and breaking specifications from cradle to grave. Develop and deliver CPD sessions for architects, procurement frameworks, housing and local authorities, fire and insurance professionals - building Sungrow's credibility and visibility in the specification space. Collaborate closely with Channel Managers and Business Development colleagues, sharing and receiving leads to ensure the right opportunities land with the right people. Maintain a rigorous and up-to-date CRM pipeline, leveraging tools such as Glenigan and Barbour BI alongside procurement frameworks to fuel lead generation and project tracking. Contribute to a strong team culture built on collaboration, transparency, and shared targets - providing bi-weekly updates to the Country Manager and staying closely aligned with the wider sales team. Your profile Right, now that you have a feel for the mission - let's talk about what makes the ideal candidate for this role. If your background looks anything like the below, we would love to hear from you: A proven track record in specification sales - experience with architects, M&E contractors, local or housing authorities, procurement frameworks, or fire and insurance compliance environments is highly valued. A natural "hunter" mentality - you are proactive, self-motivated, and energised by identifying and converting new business opportunities. Strong presentation and communication skills - you are as comfortable delivering a CPD to a room of architects as you are writing a concise update for senior leadership. Experience in the solar, renewables, or broader energy sector is a genuine advantage, though not a strict requirement - specification sales expertise takes priority. Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms (Glenigan, Barbour BI, or similar) to manage a structured and data-driven pipeline. A collaborative team player who understands the value of sharing leads, aligning with colleagues, and contributing to a unified sales culture. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain focus on what matters most. Not every box needs to be ticked - if you bring strong specification sales skills and a passion for clean energy, we want to talk. Why us? At Sungrow UK, you will be joining a team that genuinely operates as one - collaborative, ambitious, and united behind a shared mission to accelerate the energy transition. This is a role with real scope and real impact: you will be shaping how Sungrow's technology is specified and adopted across commercial buildings, housing authorities, education, hospitality, and government projects throughout the UK. You will benefit from: A part-time, flexible structure that respects your time while offering meaningful commercial responsibility and career development. A portfolio of world-class products spanning residential and C&I solar, EV charging, and ESS storage - giving you the tools to compete and win at the highest level. Strong internal support from a collaborative sales team, with clear lead-sharing processes and a culture built around collective success. The opportunity to build and own a specification pipeline from the ground up - with real autonomy, real targets, and real recognition. A front-row seat in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world, with a company that has the scale, ambition, and technology to back it up. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
