The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a growing Commercial & Industrial division within a global engineering business. This is a commercially focused role responsible for identifying, developing and securing large-scale engineered power projects, while also supporting transactional equipment sales across the UK and Ireland.
You'll build relationships with consultants, contractors, end users and key stakeholders, developing a strong pipeline of opportunities from initial enquiry through to project completion. Working closely with engineering and project delivery teams, you'll prepare technical proposals, negotiate commercial agreements and deliver solutions that provide long-term value for customers.
Location
UK-wide field-based role with hybrid working. Candidates must be willing to attend the Rugby office as required.

Requirements
- Proven sales experience within power generation, energy or a related technical engineering sector
- Track record of winning new business and managing complex project sales
- A Mechanical / Electrical engineer wanted to step into more of a commercial role
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer requirements and deliver engineered solutions
- Comfortable balancing strategic project development with day-to-day sales activity
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and driven to develop new opportunities
The Package
- £45,000-£55,000 basic salary
