Technical Sales Manager – Roofing

About Magply

Magply is part of IPP Ltd, a UK supplier of innovative products for the construction industry. We supply distributors across the UK and work closely with architects and contractors. We’re growing fast in the roofing sector and are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to drive specifications, support contractors and grow sales through our distribution network.

The Role

This is a field-based, customer-facing sales role focused on roofing applications across the South of England and London, where most of our projects and architect relationships are based. Reporting to the Roofing Sales Manager, you’ll promote our Magply board solutions to contractors, roofing installers, designers and specifiers, and then convert those specifications into orders via our distributors.

You’ll combine strong practical roofing knowledge with sales skills – confident discussing build-ups, details and regulations with architects and contractors, without taking on formal design responsibility.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
