Technical Sales Manager – Sensors & Communications - UK
Field-Based - UK
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a growing Sensor & Communications division, driving business development across a range of high-tech markets. This is a field-based role focused on design-led sales, developing new business opportunities while managing and growing key customer accounts.
The Role - Technical Sales Manager – Sensors & Communications - UK
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the sensor and communications product portfolio
- Lead a team of 3 field sales
- Build a strong pipeline through proactive business development and demand creation
- Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers across multiple industries
- Lead and support a small team of field sales engineers
- Work closely with suppliers to drive joint opportunities and project success
- Deliver against sales targets, margin objectives, and KPIs
- Present and demonstrate technical solutions to customers
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements and contracts
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management
- Represent the business at exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events

Key Requirements: - Technical Sales Manager – Sensors & Communications - UK
- Proven experience in technical sales within the electronics or sensor market
- Background working with OEMs or distribution environments
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies and related applications
- Experience selling into sectors such as industrial, automotive, aerospace, oil & gas or similar
- Ability to take a consultative, solution-based sales approach
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing accounts
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
- Leadership or team management experience is advantageous
- Engineering or Electronics qualification (or equivalent experience)
