A well-established technology business is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across its Sensors portfolio throughout the UK. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work across diverse industrial markets.

The Opportunity
This role combines new business development with strategic account management. You will be responsible for growing sensor product sales across the UK, from technical specification through to commercial closure.

Your Focus Will Include
- Identifying and developing new customers and target markets
- Driving design-in activity and building a sustainable opportunity pipeline
- Managing and growing existing accounts
- Presenting and demonstrating technical solutions to engineers and procurement teams
- Negotiating and closing commercial agreements
- Managing forecasts, pipeline reporting, and margin performance
- Staying aligned with product developments and market trends
This is a highly visible role where your technical credibility and commercial drive directly influence business growth.
Your Background
- Proven technical sales or FAE experience within the electronics industry
- 2-3+ years selling sensor products preferred
- Understanding of sensor technologies such as temperature, environmental, pressure, MEMS, gas, accelerometers, position, load, etc.
- Exposure to E-Mech products (switches, interconnect, touchscreens, power components) is advantageous
- Experience with design-in sales cycles
- Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for revenue and margin targets
- Engineering or electronics qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel weekly
