Technical Sales Manager (West of England & Wales)
Location: West of England & Wales Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + uncapped OTE, company car, and excellent benefits

The Opportunity
Due to our continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced and ambitious Technical Sales Manager to expand our market presence, develop new business, and strengthen existing client relationships across the West of England and Wales.
This is an ideal role for a technical sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving, international business environment with opportunities for career advancement, high earning potential, and long-term development.
The Role
As part of our dynamic sales team, you will:
- Grow our market share in the West of England and Wales through proactive new business development.
- Strengthen relationships with key industrial sectors, including:
- Power generation
- Petrochemicals
- Energy from waste
- Manufacturing
- Process industries (and others)
- Engage with and influence decision-makers, such as consultants, engineers, and maintenance managers.
- Brochure and sell specialist solutions in corrosion protection, engineering, and asset refurbishment.
- Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process, from initial consultation to closing.
- Deliver accurate quotations, follow up on leads, and secure new business opportunities.
- Manage and develop existing client accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records, track and manage your sales pipeline, and generate insightful reporting.

Work arrangement: This is a home-based position covering a geographical territory, requiring regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
About You
We’re looking for a successful technical sales professional with a proven track record in building long-term client relationships and closing new business. Ideal candidates will have:

- Consultative technical sales skills, with a deep understanding of engineering services.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation prowess.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing a geographical sales territory.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A full UK driving licence (travel is a key requirement).
A background in technical sales within the engineering sector would be highly advantageous.
