Technical Sales Manager - Field Based - Southern England Territory - OTE £80K - £100K +
Working closely with our client, a well-established and highly respected specialist in the process cooling and temperature control industry, we are seeking an experienced Area Sales Engineer to drive business growth across the Southern England region.

Remit
- A fantastic opportunity for a driven Sales Engineer to join a market-leading specialist who places people at the forefront of their business
- This position will suit a technically minded individual with demonstrable experience in process cooling and a proven sales track record
- The successful Area Sales Engineer will play a key role in growing the client base and delivering tailored technical solutions across a range of industries including plastics, industrial, medical, and food & beverage
Role
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for business growth across the Southern England region
- Manage the full sales cycle; from lead generation and site survey through to system design, quotation, and purchase order placement
- Carry out site surveys and produce system designs and drawings
- Prepare and present detailed quotations (including ROI, costs, design, and contract terms)
- Follow up on quotations through to order and provide ongoing account management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers (end users, OEMs, FM, and M&E)
- Manage projects ranging from £3k supply-only contracts to £1m+ installation projects
- Work collaboratively with the internal team, utilising available tools and 1-to-1 management support

Experience Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in process cooling (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of temperature control and process cooling systems
- Proven sales experience with the ability to manage a full sales cycle
- Ability to design and present technical solutions to customers
- Confident communicator; both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Ability to present to small groups
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage own workload
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills
- Graduate Engineer (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in Office 365
- HubSpot CRM and MS Navision experience advantageous
