Role Description

This is a full-time, Technical Sales Representative role and will be predominantly field-based, with some time spent at Ecobelt's Head Office in Oldham, OL9 0JA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct customer site visits to assess requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in Conveyor belt technical sales, engineering sales, or industrial product sales.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Europe.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Desirable

  • Engineering or technical qualification.
  • Knowledge of conveyor systems and associated equipment.
  • Experience managing key accounts and large projects.
