The Role
We are looking for a passionate and driven Technical Sales Representative to manage established existing customer accounts and develop new business opportunities within the Midlands region (United Kingdom).

This is a field-based role focused on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing technical expertise to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit clients and potential customers to identify needs and promote Mitutoyo products and services.
- Be able to work individually and within a team environment.
- Develop a strong understanding of metrology principles and applications.
- Generate and qualify sales leads, working alongside specialists where appropriate.
- Liaise with internal teams to follow up on opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate with clients, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports using company IT and CRM systems.
- Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and marketing events as needed.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on payment and client account queries.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and terms.

About You
- Experience in a technical sales or field sales role (preferably within measurement, engineering, manufacturing, or industries).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex product ranges.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage your own territory.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within your sales region.
