Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Sales Representative. The role involves:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and specifiers in the construction sector

The Technical Sales Representative will:

  • Provide technical product guidance
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions
  • Support customers in product selection and application

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Managing a sales pipeline
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Preparing quotes
  • Coordinating with internal technical and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions

The position requires:

  • Regular virtual meetings
  • Travel to customer sites or industry events as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience in B2B or construction-related products a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to deliver Training and product demonstrations to customers and partners.
  • Knowledge of or interest in construction materials, screeds, or building chemistry is highly beneficial.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Comfort with remote work, digital collaboration tools, and regular virtual client interactions.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the UK for customer visits and events.
  • Relevant vocational training or degree in business, engineering, construction, or a related field is an advantage.
