Overview

Bio-Rad is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to support our phage display custom antibody services in the UK and Nordics.

The Technical Sales Specialist Position Will Be Responsible For

  • Scientific discussion with customers and preparation of technically detailed project quotations.
  • Promotion of Bio-Rad antibody services by on site and virtual customer meetings, giving technical presentations, attending exhibitions, shows and working with marketing colleagues.
  • Negotiation of service and License agreements with input of Technical Sales Manager, Legal and IP.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • By achieving/exceeding sales, marketing and financial objectives for the custom antibody services in the territory
  • Executing business initiatives to grow sales and profitability as per team goals.
  • Developing a strong rapport with your customer base across your territory through calls, visits and by delivering on their needs and expectations. It is expected that up to 50% of the time is spent in the field.
  • Successfully delivering on Bio-Rad objective of high customer satisfaction by coordinating between your customers and the relevant departments within Bio-Rad, both pre- and post-sale
  • Establishing a high level of communication with key internal stakeholders in the lab and marketing team.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field, including experience in one or more of the following areas: genetic engineering (phage display), biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and/ or immunology.
  • Sales experience in life science is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Good organisational skills.
