Technical Sales Specialist Environmental Food & Safety

DESCRIPTION: Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Support Specialist III, where you'll contribute to customer success and product excellence. You'll connect product management, engineering, sales, and service groups globally, working to maintain and enhance our solutions. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction through technical support, documentation development, and quality assurance initiatives. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineering and product management teams to ensure service personnel have accurate, up-to-date technical documentation and tools. You'll investigate and resolve complex technical issues, develop comprehensive training programs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our high standards of product quality and customer service while supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in technical support, product quality assurance, or related field • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with analytical instrumentation • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Experience developing and conducting technical training programs • Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation • Strong project management and organizational skills • Proficient in investigating and resolving product quality issues • Experience with quality management systems and regulatory compliance • Ability to travel 10-20% • Valid passport or ability to obtain one • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams • Experience with CRM systems and technical documentation tools • Valid driver's license • Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, squat, and reach as needed • Ability to support customer needs across time zones Thank you for your interest as you consider starting a new career journey with us.
