Technical Sales Support Specialist – Haynes Group Limited
Infopro Digital, the B2B group specialising in information and technology, is looking to recruit a Technical Sales Support Specialist to join their Haynes Group Limited team within the Automotive division on a permanent basis.
Infopro Digital is a global organisation employing 4,000 people across 79 nationalities in 26 countries, with an annual turnover of €630 million.
Haynes Group Limited, established as an Automotive Data Solutions provider, has delivered double-digit growth yearly for the last 11 years and was acquired by Infopro Digital in 2020 as part of their strategy to become a global leader in the automotive data market.
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Technical Sales Support Specialist to contribute to our dynamic B2B sales team, operating across three key territories: UK, Asia Pacific, and USA. This role bridges technical support and sales, ensuring clients receive expert guidance when acquiring and implementing automotive data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support to the AUKUS sales team, assisting with:
- Client enquiries
- Product demonstrations
- Communicate the benefits and applications of automotive technical data solutions to both existing and potential customers
- Collaborate in pre-sales activities, including:
- Customer needs assessments
- Solution recommendations
- Technical presentations
- Partner with product and development teams to:
- Relay customer feedback
- Suggest product improvements
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide first-line support during:
- Customer onboarding
- Implementation periods
- Work with the marketing team to:
- Develop and maintain technical sales documentation
- Create FAQs and training materials
- Assist in preparing:
- Proposals
- Quotations
- Tender responses with technical input
- Stay updated on:
- Industry trends
- Vehicle data technologies
- Competitive offerings
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing support and guidance

Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Automotive systems
- Vehicle diagnostics
- Related automotive technologies
- Previous experience in:
- Engineering
- Technical sales support
- Pre-sales, sales, marketing, or customer-facing technical roles
- Availability to work remotely from the UK, with the ability to travel across Europe, the USA, and APAC
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service focus
- Capability to work:
- Independently
- Collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-time-zone environment
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office
- CRM systems
- Bonus points for previous exposure to technical data or automotive software platforms
